    I always liked the harmony of this original better than Benson's. Great stuff and it haunted me when I lived in downtown San Diego.

    I've just been watching this on a BBC compilation which was broadcast in 1998. According to that, this clip is from the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test, broadcast in 1974. It also refers to the point made by others here that at that time, The Drifters were based in England.
