Take a break and visit the "Very Large Array" off Us60 in New Mexico. The Very Large Array is the most powerful, flexible, and widely-used radio telescope in the world. Dedicated in 1980, it has been used for more than 10,000 astronimical observing projects.

Also discussing my progress as I try and ride 1000 miles in under 24 hours on my Saddle Sore 1000.

  • I think the Seti site now has more dishes on line,there in Chats creek Calif I think

  • just one slight correction. the vla has 27 dishes, not 15.

  • We aliens use the array to "phone home".

    I crashed my space ship somewhere in NM...Roswell I believe ..... been stranded on xearth ever since.....

    whoa! you ride far distances! cool man! off road! watch out for the radiation areas....
