In the Hebrew scripture they were always under GRACE. Nothing has changed except the High Priest.

WOAH WOAH WOAH....
"...death brought a seperation from that previous husband and she was free to be in union with a new husband..."
wow... well Paul, and unfortunately, you, my friend, need to take another look I guess.
Where does it say this?
I see a lot of mention of widows but nothing saying they should get a new husband.

I thought it was a good sermon. Knowledge of the law shows a man his sin, and that the grace of God is needed to save his soul. Obedience, repentance and becoming born again.

Well...I agree with 0% of this...maybe someone else will have a fight with you about it, or maybe I'll do it, if I get bored enough.

I have a problem with the way the Grace of God in interpetation is given. I fear so many of my friend's use this as a crutch, "flesh is weak, we are saved by Christ". I believe anyone who know's God live's by the law and when lost turn's to christ. God in his wisdom know's each of us and nothing will be hidden. The law is for our protection and to shelter us from evil. Please ask God to show you and don't rely on interpetation.

good stuff. who is the speaker/pastor?
I think there is allot of wisdom what you just said, "and when lost turns to Christ. That is something Jesus was always doing, pointing us to God. When they asked him what is the greatest commandment and also when Jesus said, "there is no one Good but God!" etc. The law was never intended to save a man but to show God's standard. What saves a man is God's grace.
