This was something I wanted to try since I saw Andrew's tutorial on the exploding hand grenade! I didn't know how to work with objects linked to particles. Knew it could, just not how. That tutorial explained it soo well and also showed how the explode modifier works. It's a fantastic tutorial to check out:

For those who like the numbers: 5000 particles, 10 generated rocks, 5 materials.
Unfortunately, this physics test does not compensate or factor in the dimensions of the objects linked to the particles, even with size deflect ticked, so they didn't pile up, just slid through one another, lol. The boid system does work with the size of the objects, but I'd have to watch a few tutorials on how to work with that still.

PS, this is not using the game engine. The whole idea was to see if you can get a physics test without the game engine.
