OMG! My name is Melissa Ballan and I'm the little red head in the commercial! I never thought I would see that again! WOW!
The "dad" in the commercial is Richard Kind.
He went to star in "Spin City" and "Mad About You". The commercial was so fun to film, and there was at least five different versions of this! How cool!!!!

My brother and I got this game for Christmas when they re-released later in the 80's. It said on the box, "NOT new OR improved." lol

In the eighties, MAD magazine didn't have advertising, just parodies. So when the had a promotion for this board game on the back cover of one issue, they had to print in the margin "Real Advertisement"
