Rod and the Faces always came out to The Stripper ! Then he kicked tons of footballs into the crowd with sometimes a football pro who was at the gig. The Faces were either fantastic or so drunk they were crap !

Back in the early days they played The Hardrock in Manchester, which is now a B & Q hardware store ! I bet the staff have no idea they are working over a stage graced by the huge names of rock in the early 70's.

Anyhow, Kenny Jones on drums passed out with the heat over his kit !

I was at this concert. I was in grade 12 at the time...one of eight Ive seen of Mr. Stewart....I think we waited in line for three hours to get tickets(we suffered for our rock and roll in those days!)...I feel privileged to have seen Rod in his prime...though I wish I could have seen him live when he was with the Faces. Thanks for the vid...it made this middle aged guy smile...:)
