The Very First: A Stop-Motion Animation

It was two days before the Night of Music and Art at SAR High School, and I walked into the practically bombed media lab to find Mr. A, where he almost always is.
"Talia," he said, "Why don't you take these nice cutouts that Gabrielle made and make a stop motion animation with them?"
"What's a stop motion animation?"
"It's one of those cool things that move around really quickly, where you take a blagrillion photos..."
"Oh, yeah! Yeah, that would be cool. I'll do that!"
So I did. This is, what I thought was, the first stop motion animation film that I did, hence the name. I found out later that I had done others, without knowing that they were stop motion animation, and without nearly as good tools. But this was the thing that sparked my sudden interest and fascination for all types of traditional animation.
