Zack, I appreciate that you realize that downloading music is piracy. And you were unfortunate enough to be made an example of by the RIAA. There are worse crimes than yours, but it is not a victimless crime. I have no love of giant media corporations. But when the return on investment drops for a given line of business, they will simply invest less in that line of business. This will flow through to artists, songwriters, and all the people who derive a living from the sale of music. Like me!
