This is a continuation of original songs of worship. It's a song that brings attention to the glorious attributes of God. We need to focus on who God is in our worship since He is the divine object of our worship. Right, High, Exalted, and Glorified views of God will inspire us to worship Him with fervor, reverence and zeal. Worship isn't about us, it's about Him, our Maker and Redeemer. If we have a wrong concept of God we will not worship Him according to truth and this will not bring Him glory. What we think about as we worship God is very important. He is a Person and He is knowable. Do we really know Him? Do we know His holy attributes, that is His divine character. Is our thinking about God biblical? Knowing who God is defines who we are. If you misdefine God, you misdefine everything in life. The study of the knowledge God is the most important pursuit in life. Absolutely nothing is more important. Getting to know God is a daily challenge because it takes time. It must be our top priority. First, you must start with a desire to know through His written Word, prayer, and worship.
