I remember this... St. Albans did a fantastic job and Brittany can SANG!!!!! Over the Rainbow was my favorite part of their show because of her amazing solo!!

yeah, let's reevaluate. Britty is amazing. Absolutely, without a doubt, beyond fantastic. Recordings never do singers justice--everybody knows that--but even this recording sounds great. Brittany is an incredibly talented girl..and an even more amazing person..and she deserved #1 soloist in the state. Don't even start saying she can't sing because that's just what you do when you're so amazed that you become insecure about your own abilities.

you are sadly mistaken. the soloist received a 10 for control on her scoresheet and she isn't screaming, she is just loud, and there is nothing wrong with that and i would say the only time she isn't on pitch would be the beginning, which is forgiven considering she's singing and dancing 2 secs. before she's about to belt the solo and the best soloist judge at states is the director of the west virginians at alderson broaddus and knows what she's doing, so i'd say her opinion overrides yours. (:

or maybe you are the deaf one there my dear. thats the best female soloist in west virginia. she has such a brilliant voice, especially if you hear her in person. look up some of her other videos on here and you will see. (:

you all are truly deaf. the soloist is rarely on pitch and does nothing but scream in the end. she needs to take voice lessons to learn some control. it's horrible.

the ballad soloist has an absolutely amazing voice. probably the best solo i have heard in show choir. beautiful job!!!
