my sandisk cruzer 32gb usb drive says no bootable media found after i installed the iso on it using that method when i try to boot into it using F10 at startup =/

@PhiberOptics I have a cheap usb and it works..... to a point, i have had 1 successful load so it loads backtrack then it just says: 'no such device can mount /dev/loop0 on //filesystem.squashfs' and then i dont know what to do. I tried to re install it on the USb and it stopped working again. Also i get wierd letters in my isolinux.cfg and when it installed i didnt have those. Any suggestions?

Hey hopefully you can help me, i have been having lots of problems installing this OS. First it works on virtual machines but i can not partion the disk to install the OS. i cant boot from the usb becuase i get a error saying: 'boot error'. please help me i really want this OS.

@MrEditzzzz Install it as a dual boot with Windows then You can use the feature when you click the icon on the desktop of backtrack when you get to the part of the hard drive you can install it using Side by Side or you can just use the entire drive. Alot of people have a problem installing Backtrack on a USB the reason is 1. Computer don't support booting from USB. 2. Because there not using a sandisk cruzer usb You need atleast a 4GB sandisk cruzer usb and a computer that can boot from USB
