Here is another selection from the PS22 Chorus performance at Congressman Michael MacMahon and Judge Judy McMahon's inauguration on December 21, 2008. I wasn't originally going to post this because the sound system was definitely not working to our best advantage, and we've already posted several versions of the song. However, after receiving a really kind letter from Minority Leader of the NYC Council, James S. Otto, that specifically referred to this performance, I decided that it must indeed be postworthy.....

It actually was pretty funny when the kids got to the line, "Oh who would ever want to be king?" Why? Well, you'll see. Let's just say it served to make the song strangely perfect for the occasion! And it certainly got a notable chuckle at the swearing-in ceremony, as you will also see....

i'm a juvenile probation officer. I work in the largest probation office in the world in the worst neighborhood in Los Angeles. Sometimes I just want to give up on them. I never do but working in the inner city is so hard.
