Architect Richard Jones, remodeled and expanded his house and in the process it became the only Certified LEED Platinum house in South Florida. As a result his bigger home now consumes a fraction of the electricity it did before. His 1200 SF house used about $200+ worth of electricity... his most recent bill was $27 and he is yet to reach $50 and his house is now 2200 SF.
