  • I love this!

Dreaming of her and smiling to each and everybody I meet on the streets...

Walking, almost hovering, thinking life´s a beautiful...

I think, I will get over the steepest hills and climb the highest mountains...

Just to kiss her and listen to her laughing and watching her lips forming into the smile...

    That made me the conqueror...

  • she's singing over a pre-recorded vocal part to double it, which is good for her because she is not a strong vocalist

  • my favourite of the KCRW session!

  • @photoglyph Yeah, I think you're right. I noticed right after I wrote. But they probably have some kind of effect on her song.. maybe a doubler, or just a sampler that gets pushed in by someone. Flaming Lips does the same thing when they play live because of their many add ons.

  • @ssstoffe I think that's actually a Mackie mixer -they all seem to have them...

  • @photoglyph she pushes the sampler when she wants the multi-tracking. You can see that she's having her hand on it the whole time. Just like most artist singing live.

  • LOVE THEM!!!

  • @LIFEONPLANETBECK

The whole album is brilliant. I just bought it today. I don't regret it. Kudos to Charlotte and Beck for their fine work!

  • Yowsa, one of the many gems on the album....simply brilliant

  • @Snollam ...Wicked effect, I am in an acoustic duo with a female singer and really see the value of that piece of kit. Don't know about doing this song (my singer quite likes it too...) as I think it would sound too hollow with just an acoustic guitar.

This is a great song, loads of talent, mix of great instruments... perfect.
