We use leeboards, two foiled blades on the sides of the kayak.
@turnere0 We like to use the 1.6m2 on the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 most of the time. The 1.4m2 is a good choice for this boat in places where the average wind speeds are >12 knots.
