that "old rusty gundam" is still more technologically advanced than your "new gundam". the V2 has inspired both Destiny's design and the GN drives from 00, yet it still surpasses the performance of both.

because there are too many people that are quick to assume that "newer=better", when a quick comparison of specifications shows that the older design is still better than the new kid trying to catch up.

V2 gundam reminds me of Turn A gundam, its the kind of suit that just keeps revealing more power as episodes go by and never reveals its full potential. The shit that gundam can do is pretty god like, however, its too hard to tell how it matches up to any other Gundam in a series. Uso is definitely a much much better pilot than Shinn (in skill and intelligence) so that alone could be enough to make it a win for Uso and V2. V2 is also a much more versatile suit (especially with Assault-Buster).
