Quick look at border crossing into Mexico at San Ysidro showing only random checking, one reason that large amounts of arms smuggling from the United States have flooded Mexico. BTW, it's NOT just arms from the USA. the United States is the major transhipment place for arms from China and Europe. the big arms seizure in Mexicali, those were from Germany.
