Палана - посёлок, возникший когда-то на побережье Охотского моря на севере Камчатского края. Основали его коряки - один из народов, проживающих на этой земле.
Этот посёлок на протяжении многих лет имел огромное значение, как среди кочующих оленеводов, так и среди береговых людей этого народа, которые ведут оседлый образ жизни.
Песня "Моя Палана" была пронесена через многие поколения коряков, которые жили или хотя бы раз посещали посёлок, и теперь представитель этого народа -- Андрей Кит-Кит Умья -- исполняет её. Однако вся особенность данной аранжировки в её инструментальном сопровождении, в сочетании различных по звучанию инструментов, на которых играют три музыканта: Эдуард Погодин-Пелгусий («Леший») -- смычково-щипковый инструмент, Сергей Колесников -- акустическая гитара, Андрей Затока -- барабан Джембе и глиняный горшок Уду. И пусть в этой новой аранжировке прослеживается синтез нескольких культур - в основу её положена песня о прекрасном месте и данный её вариант - ещё один способ рассказать о Палане.
Что касается изобразительного материала - не хочется называть всё это видеоклипом или чем-то вроде этого. Тем более что идеи создать клип не преследовалось. Это, скорее, эскиз. Повторюсь, что в нём присутствуют элементы нескольких культур. В частности -- в сцене с человеком на берегу: показан чукотский танец. Однако снято это было в устье реки Паланы, недалеко от самого посёлка.
В этой «зарисовке» нет посторонних изображений, судьбы людей, показанных здесь, так или иначе, переплетены с историей этого места. Каждый кадр дополняет собой старую мелодию, а за их простым чередованием и любованием кроется напоминание о людях, живущих в гармонии и единстве со своей землёй.

Palana - the village, which arose sometime on the coast of Sea of Okhotsk in the north of Kamchatka. It was founded by Koryaks - one of the people living in this land.
For many years this village had great importance, both among the nomadic herders, and among the coastal people of this nation who are sedentary.
The song "My Palana" was carried through many generations of Koryaks, who lived or visited this village at least once, and now the representative of this nation - Andrey Kit-Kit Umia - is performing the song. However, the entire feature of this arrangement in its instrumental accompaniment, in a combination of different musical instruments on which the three musicians are playing: Eduard Pogodin-Pelgusiy ("The Silvan") - bowed string instrument, Sergey Kolesnikov - acoustic guitar, Andrey Zatoka - Djembe drum and Udu clay pot. It's not important that in this new arrangement can be the synthesis of several cultures - it is based on a song about a beautiful place and this version of it - another way to talk about Palana.
Speaking of the visual material - I do not want to call it "a music video" or something like that. The more so because I didn't pursued the idea of a clip. It is rather a draft. I repeat that it contains elements from several cultures. In particular - in a scene with a man on the shore: it's the Chukchi dance. However, it was filmed at the mouth of Palana river, not far from the village.
In this "draft" there are no foreign frames, fates of the people, which shown here, one way or another, intertwined with the history of this place. Each frame is complementary to the old tune, but behind of their simple alternation and admiration lies a reminder about the people, living in harmony and unity with their land.
