@fedaikn Haha, thank you for the compliments. I don't really know where you are from, but your English is very good as well ^^ I did look up the video to gain some information about the observations and reaction itself. However, meanwhile I checked out a few other experiments that I found interesting.
P.S: Thank you for the explanation. It was short, but easy to understand and interesting. ^^
@angelinad1996 actually i was wrong. it may in fact be NaCl, and no, i don't see any yellow to green tint in the tube to the right.
the left vial turn purple because....there is an indicator in the solution, namely phenolphtaleine which turns purple in contact with the alkaline NaOH
@angelinad1996...so basically you are trying to tell me that you have been randomly watching chemical reactions on the tube and hence accidentally stumbled upon my comment....although tired, you couldn't resist replying. i guess you were looking for something that has to do with school classes, considering your age.
by the way, your english is very good , though you are a native bulgarian speaker. and you've got some serious drawing skills too.
@fedaikn I agree with you.(It might be my imagination but I think there was a slight hint of green appearing in the test tube on the right - of course, if I were you, I wouldn't believe the eyes of an exhausted person who has been watching and re-watching different chemical reactions for hours - annd nearly gone out of her mind, if I may add. TT_TT ) Nicely done :D
