One geologist who saw Divine Performing Arts in Boston now has a rekindled interest in ancient Chinese culture. Let's take a look.
One staff member of Boston University was very touched by Divine Performing Arts when he saw the show at the weekend.

Geologist Robert Scoch has a passion for the study of ancient cultures. He says the traditional moral values woven in to Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular are universal, irrespective of ethnic background.

[Robert Scoch, Boston University Geologist]:
I think what we see here, I will call eternal truths. A message that stands for something we can all believe in. Something that is really good for the whole world. These are not just views that are for one people or another people. This is really something for all of humanity. This coming from the gods, as the name says from the Divine. So I think this is something all of us can appreciate and learn from, and enjoy.

Mr Schoch hopes more people will be able to see the performance on its 80 city global-tour.

[Robert Scoch, Boston University Geologist]:
I think it is wonderful that they are bringing this all over the world. They are bringing the culture of classical China, ancient China, traditional China and bringing it to a modern contemporary society, modern audience. And as I understand it, really reviving this and restoring it to its rightful place.

  • wish I had seen this show!

  • I saw the show three days ago. It was good, they danced very well. But there were two things I didn't like: 1.: they mixed western and chinese musical instruments. its a question of taste, I would prefer chinese instruments only. 2.: I think the show showed too much about falun dafa. I went there to see traditional chinese dance and music and not falun dafa, with all due respect
