Written by Richard Carpenter and John Bettis. From the album "Voice Of The Heart." This performance: Eric Akif, vocalist and Elaine Kim, pianist. New York, 4 March 2010.
When I heard the opening notes, I immediately saw Richard Carpenter sitting by the piano. You definitely captured the spirit of the Carpenters, yet never risking imitation or parody. Good job.
What's with your VOICE???--- that made me make an account in youtube the first time i hear your own rendition of timeless classic songs so I can leave a comment for you to know how greatly I am moved by your voice!!! Extraordinary talents like you deserve a long standing ovation!!!
Congratulations on an excellent version of this lovely song. Very much appreciated and in a class apart from much of the material posted on You Tube nowadays.
