thanks for the info. In my opinion it is generally best to learn accents from native speakers.

@bobbbxxx true, but if you listen to the podcast, he does use a native speaker. He's guy on the oneminute french or "walk, talk, and learn" videos.

This guy is the main teacher for us people who speak english as a first language. In later episodes, he brings in Pierre Bienoit for more advanced conversation. He's a native frenchman, who speaks english with this weird scottish/french accent.

@OffeJ83 Yes, but..... to be honest it is best to learn a language from native speakers. There are no shortage of French speakers about.

@bobbbxxx oh you get used to the accent. He's a good teacher and he speaks clear enough in either language. At least he doesn't sound like Groundskeeper Willie.
