cladaking,i think it was to make sure naruto doesn't die,look how many times naruto is supose to be dead,it was like 3 or 6 times he was supose to die.First,sasuke chidoiried naruto in his shoulder,then like did a peldriver naruto in the ground,then on that on mission with the kid with the monkey he got cut all overhimself and didn't die

wat madara is saying doesnt make sense. if the higher ups ordered the killing of the uchia clan that means the 4th wud no about it so y wud he make that order and then go seal it. and ive been wondering sumtin since the fifth died y didnt the 4th jus seal the nine tails in himself so it wud die wit him instead of putin it in his son it jus doesnt make sense also the 4th really mustve been strong becuz madara is stronger than sasuke but weaker than the first and the first was weaker than the 4th

We still can't be sure. Not until he reveals his face. Closer to the matter, "My stubborn refusal to die could be proof of that", may very well be a testament to his power and ability, which could, in turn, mean anything. Oro' may not be the only one wielding immortality-themed jutsu. It may be what originally sparked his interest in the Uchiha clan.
