"In a thousand years, people will still shudder at the word 'Chernobyl"? No offense, but it's now 25 years ago, and I'd be suprised if 10% of western inhabitants would still know what Chernobyl is. Message: don't let the world forget Chernobyl!!

(cont 3) Chernobyl and Fukushima are CRITICAL ISSUES that no one seems to want to pay any attention to other than some very concerned but left horribly unequipped Scientists to try and deal with. well, when something goes wrong, go ahead and try explaining THAT to your children, your grandchildren.... if they even have a world that is on the borderline of being considered safe to live in at all. the Scientists and others trying desperately to get attention to fixing these things are heroes.
-
(cont 2) with the enormity of potential damage to human and all other life on this planet at stake with these accidents (look at cancer rates and birth defects in the areas most heavily contaminated due to wind conditions after Chernobyl, they skyrocket) the 'care' and the 'money' surely can be found somewhere. it is surely being found for your ipods your iphones... not to mention the huge excesses of money that could be garnered from various governments.
-
(cont) these are both situations that are absolute crises and what is really being done? that sarcophagus cracks and comes down and something on par or worse than the original accident could happen. this SHOULD BE OF PRIMARY IMPORTANCE. it is not. as far as Fukushima, it was probably and is still probably being handled even worse than Chernobyl was/is. and the exclusion zone at Chernobyl will be uninhabitable for thousands of years. (cont)

why the HELL are Scientists STILL TO THIS DAY being forced to work with terribly insufficient protective gear, on a sarcophagus that even when this video was made was deemed UNSTABLE? no one cares? or no money? sorry but if you just spent 8 billion Euros to build the LHC, which dont get me wrong i see the value in the LHC. but it is not an URGENT SITUATION as Chernobyl and now Fukushima is. Approval was given today to start building of new reactors here in the US. Upsetting to say the least

@soldierdudem4 Just the inside of the sarcophagus
Awesome video. I still can't comprehend how huge these facilities are. Damn u 9/11 now I can't even tour 1 in America what b/s. As much as I dislike these facilities, they are amazing representations of the minds power.
