I'm from Japan. I have never had to wait or need for making an appointment to see a doctor.
If you are in the school, specially elementary school, the doctors(eye, teeth, necessary vaccination, etc.) come to the school regularly for the check up.

Where do Americans get these crazy ideas about Canadian health care? There's no one from the government between me and my doctor, people who have an urgent need to see a specialist see a specialist right away, teh median age of survival for CF patients is th esame in Canada as it is in the US.

I have NEVER EVER in my entire life been dissapointed in any way with healthcare in the UK with regard to my CF and neither has my brother who also has CF and neither has anyone else I know who has CF.
