I'm 11 years old (seriously) and I started playing Descent again after like, 5 or 6 years, and the Super Hulk owns me now. Back in the day when I was five, I used to own HIM. Bastard keeps spawning right behind me.

i had the original game, (yes the bosses were absolutely fucking insane, compared to how much easier they made them in the following years) but i remember the first time i flew into Level 7's reactor room, being new to it as i was, i had already burnt the cloak and the invulnerability close by, and i saved at the door, opened it up and noticed this yellow monstrosity that blasted my 200 shields into oblivion in a matter of seconds. Nice to meet you too, Super Hulk. weeks of my life were spent...

i did the same thing exactly. i remember once feeling like a bad ass cause i backed up and a bomb followed me through the doorway and i turned my ship enough to shake the bomb. i was like 11 years old and it was the shit.
as a side note i think its funny that i still think of "the yellow hulk" several times a year. im 22 years old.

I loved that level.... number 12. I don't know how a level can be "beautiful", but i thought that one was. 10, also.
