There are many islands but only one Block Island, and Block Island has miles of stone walls, 365 ponds, miles of hiking trails. Block Island's seventeen miles of beach are clean and surrounded by rolling hills and the famous Block Island sand dunes.
Block Island, Rhode Island is a Nature Conservancy so Block Island is covered with untouched meadows and fields and Block Island's paths all meander down to Block Island beaches, some of the finest island beaches anywhere.
Block Island has a historic center with some classic hotels like the 1661 Inn and the Hotel Manisses, family travel favorites on Block Island.
Block Island is all year to the casual tourist or to the travelers seeking a special place.
Block Island, Rhode Island is not to be missed.
