Iranian designers fuse international and European fashion with traditional Iranian styles, breathing new life into Islamic fashion in Iran.
At a rare official fashion show in the country's capital, Tehran, designers took the opportunity to display some colourful and vibrant Islamic costumes which are not only in line with Islamic codes, but also current fashion trends.
While not exactly trying to put the chic into chador, Iranian fashion designer Haniyeh Abedi believes that the strict Islamic dress code requiring women to be covered from head to toe does not mean they cannot look good.

Nobody ever gone show you the Chapter and verse, because nobody have the answers, but yet everybody acting like God. God should step in already and show the way to truth, all the religions man made bogus, wake up you nations already, there is only one kingdom that nobody can proof that exist, Gods kingdom, without any confusion of religions, nobody knows the truth, everybody hungry for power and control. God is one, religions are none.
I am Iranian and i think you (PerrrsianBelle) are full of shit. You sound like one of those morons that like to have Freedom -Frize, i am sick and tired of these Iranians outside Iran who like to decide for Iranians Inside country, they do not believe in democracy at all it is a democracy when it supports their interest and thoughts.
I guess you are not Iranian so don't try to understand the Iranian people. Non-Iranian muslims' minds are poisoned by the Islamic Republic's propaganda. If you like Islam so much, go and live there. Why do you think so many Iranians fled their homeland? Anyway, I am not intrested in being an online teacher!
Trying to understand people is a part of being human. I am not muslim by birth but I am atheist by choice. Iran has a population of 70 million. So based on your statement 36Million+ of them "hate Islam". No one is asking you to be a teacher.
I said that most Iranians now HATE Islam and its clergy (I don't care if they are or aren't the same). Iran was at the centre of, and a part of the Persian Empire. I said Persian cultrure is NOT Islamic culture, and neither is the culture of the rest of Iran. Islam was imposed. You can see the real position of the Iranians towards Islam when you meet Iranians abroad, not under the gun. They don't wear the hejab unless paid spies for the Islamic Regime.
At its largest size PE included part of Syria, Iraq, Pars (State of Fars), Iran, Kharazm, Azarbaijan, Georgia, part of Tajikstan, part of Afghanistan. In pre-Islamic times those areas were part of PE but they have different culture.
P.S. Pre 1977 a very large number of Iranian women, especially in remote areas & even Tehran wore, headscarfs, Chaador and in south even face covers. That was due to Islam and not hate of it. I know the "position" of Iranians out of Iran; they are not the majority.
Islam was a religion not a culture! I am smart enough not to believe in the certainty of religion or atheism. Stop talking for real Iranians. A minority wearing hejab never represented the pre-1977 Iran. Watch some TV. Do you see Iranian women outside of Iran wearing the hejab (again, unless they work for the dictator Islamic government)? You are NOT an atheist! You're trying to defend and promote Islam, you hezbollahi. You're not Iranian, otherwise you're a traitor.
I am not talking for any one & not promoting Islam which is stupider than Christianity & Judaism. I am not stupid to think the TV shows the majority of the country, before or after 79. Ask your parents (since you were 6 years old) if villagers in Iran were religious or not and if the girls had (Rosari). Before it was mandatory. Actually I would wish well for Iranians if they revolt and became a democracy although many will be killed by the regime. And the hezbollahi part shows you are an idiot.
