The words to this moving presentation were written by Patrick Camunes a fellow Vietnam Veteran. When I listened to these powerful and haunting words I felt the urge to put pictures to the words so with Patrick's permission I produced this presentation. Patrick and I both welcome your thoughts and comments.
The whoop whoop whoop of Huey blades.
The hollow popping of small arms fire over the ridgeline.
The snap of our flag in the Arlington breeze.
Have Glenn Beck try to read that.......

@jcamunes Thank you for writing the words, even tho they are being exploited by this media whore. My late husband, whom I lost in April, was a Vietnam vet. Chu Lai '69-70. Shame on Beck for using the sacrifices of our generation to feather his own nest.

Glenn Beck's voice really took away from the impact of the words. He just sound angry, as usual.

@hfjai Actually, Glenn Beck used my words without permission and I wasn't very happy with that. . . But, I will have to give him credit for a good narration. . . . Pat Camunes

I can only say resolutely say to those that did serve in Vietnam, lost limbs and even suffered the loss of of their lives in this war, thank you. I know many this day who served there and are still suffering from the Agent Orange defoliant or the nightmares that are also a large part of their service to this country, No matter how sad this whole mission was, God Bless them all for giving their ultimate for this country.

As a U. S. Naval vet flying from carriers in the VN fiasco, I lost several good friends and sailors - both officer and enlisted - in combat and tragic carrier accidents. Two Naval Aviator friends spent too many years in NVN as POWs. Starting with VN all the way through to the present day, our politicians always seemed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with their impatience. My fear now is that leaving too soon will only waste the lives of those who served there.
