  • I used my pen only a little bit since I got it and now I find that when I click it to use it the pen barely comes out of the frame, only showing just a tiny little bit. What a drag. I've had many, many $1 and $2 pens that NEVER had such a problem, and now it looks like I have to package this crap thing up and send it in for repairs. What a joke!

  • Mine does that sometimes. Make sure the top and bottom are screwed in all the way. The top has a small collar around the button that is hard to hold onto, but needs to be screwed into the housing as far as you can get it. I've thought about trying some thread lock on mine since that happens every so often.

  • I will say the SureFire Pen original is a bit on the heavy side as I would expect version 2. I also find the girth of the pen on the large side. Won't fit inside a folded leather pen holding strap found in most day planners. You have to hang it by the clip. The clip does well enough job but the pen is then a bit floppy vrs having been able to stow the body of the pen in the folded leather pen strap.

  • All great points. I would say pens of this style, "tactical", all tend to be much larger than your normal pen. It would be nice to see something made this robust and still fit in the things you've mentioned. You might check out the new offerings from benchmade, but they have some smaller pens out now.

  • I wish it was a smooth transition between the small silver til and the body rather than that abrupt cut off. I'd fear (having never held the pen) that I would find that part uncomfortable. I've had trouble with my Surefire 4 pen using that Schmidt 9000 writing on prescription pads. Almost makes it useless. :-( Guess I can put a Fisher space pen refill in it.

  • @qfina but you can brake glass with this one..

  • Id rather but a pack of pilot g2 pens and save the 93 dollars.

  • whats next a tactical earser

  • its not jus a pen. its a piece of art.

  • can i have your benchmade pen

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!

It's a fucking pen. You press the end???? 99% of 20cent pens work like that, jesus, there are some geeks out there.

    And it's AL-U-MIN-I-UM.

  • i have tried both on my riot control missions lately. i like the s&w or schrade more as you can put your thumb on the cap's flat side for moe strength when hitting the target body. but this one is neater in craftmanship. schrade is my daily carry. good vid. tks.

  • @DelSolSea Thank you, sir! I'll take your advice!!:-)

  • @guyNbluejeans EasyFlow 2,000 in my opinion sucks!

Go to office depot and get a Parker .7 GEL medium black refill and your have better success!
