Demi's POV
"Excuse me", I asked looking at him. What the hell is Nick talking about? Nick ran his hair through his curls, "It's a long story", he said. "Well, tell me," I said as I looked at him.
Fly on the Wall POV
Nick: Um, well okay. So, here we go. I used to work at this bakery for Victoria's dad. He's a very wealthy man. He thought a lot of me, and I admit he was a nice guy. Hence the words WAS. What I didn't know about Victoria's dad was that he was in the mafia. Victoria still doesn't know the true colors of her dad. He acted like a nice, decent man, but he was really the biggest douche ever. One day, I stayed at the bakery overtime, and I walked out back to throw out the trash. When I went outside, I saw Victoria's dad robbing a guy with the rest of the crew. As soon as his boys heard me, they turned around and pointed their guns at me. Of course, I put my hands up, I was scared shitless. I remember Victoria's dad telling the guys to put the guns down, and they did as he said. He made me promise that I wouldn't tell anybody of anything that I just saw, and was seeing right then. I nodded my head; I thought it'd be pretty easy to keep my mouth shut about what I saw. But then, Victoria's dad gave me another option, he told me to date his daughter, or die. So, of course I chose to date her. But after a while of dating, Victoria's dad told me that it was about time for me to propose. I really didn't want to propose, but once again, he gave me an option. Marry Victoria, or pay up 50 grand. Of course, I don't have 50 grand. I was just working at a simple bakery. So, I married her. I really shouldn't be telling you all this. I've never told anybody else, but...just promise that you keep this between you and I.
Demi: That's fucking horrible. I'll give you 50 grand. You know I have the money.
Nick: No, I could never take your money. Thanks for offering though. Just promise no one else will know about this.
Demi: -sighs- Nick, I promise. But, seriously, don't be so stuck into your own pride. I can give you money, you don't even have to pay me back. I'll get you out of this. Just let me help you.
Nick: No, Demi. I got myself into this mess, and I can get myself out.
Demi's POV
After the wedding, I went over to Miley and Selena's place. I stayed a while, and then made my way back home. I hope my next door neighbor came over, and took Jasper for a walk, and filled up his food bowl. If not Jasper is probably cursing me out in his little dog mind. I walked into my apartment and heard the TV going. "Jasper, what did I tell you about turning on the TV, bro", I screamed. I heard a familiar laugh, and rolled my eyes. I closed and locked the door, and went into the living room. Sitting there was my ex-boyfriend, Sterling. He dangled a pair of keys at me, "I just came to return my keys to your place", he said. I snatched the keys from him, "Good job, now get out", I said.
Fly on the Wall POV
Sterling: Not so fast. I want you back.
Demi: You can't always get what you want. --crosses her arms, and rolls her eyes- Can you please go?
Sterling: See. That's what's wrong with you. You act like you're so fucking tough.
Demi: I am tough. I'm tougher than you'll ever be. That's what's wrong with you, you're a fucking weak cheater. You're a sad excuse for a man.
Sterling: The only reason I cheated was because you were so fucking into that fucking club of yours. You never had time for me!
Demi: Whatever, can you just get out. I don't want to argue with you, and get kicked out of my condo. So, leave.
Sterling: Okay, fine. But, I'm taking Jasper.
Demi: You can't take Jasper! That's my dog!
Sterling: But who bought him for you!? Me.
Demi: But who was always taking care of him when you were out cheating? Me.
Sterling: That's the only thing you got on me, Demi. Yeah, I cheated. Big fucking deal. But I would do anything for you, and you're always treating me like shit. You're always treating everyone like shit. You never show affection to others. It's all about YOU. That's why your parents cut you off. I've never seen you cry in my life. You're always acting as if you're hardcore.
Demi: I'm going to say this one more time. Leave.
Sterling: Yeah, just ignore everything I said, because you know I'm right. --walks out and slams the door-
Jasper: -whimpers-
Demi: -looks at Jasper and nods- I know, bro. I know. --sighs-
