haha and i forgot about godard, he is obviously up there among the best right now too. I actually think that guys like godard, orr, peters, parros, shelley, ivanans, mcgrattan, thornton, belak, all seem to be pretty evenly matched.

for top 5 i'd probably put:
Laraque
Boogaard
Belak
Shelley
then maybe either orr, mcgrattan, or ivanans
parros peters and thornton are alright too, and obviously brashear used to be one of the best, but i think hes lost a step now.
chara is really big and strong, but all he seems to do is wrestle. i've never really seen him 'fight'

look at youtube: boogaard vs brashear. shelly 5 top? no, top 5 yes, but not top 5! brashear, laraque, boogaard, orr, godard and i think belak is better than shelly or a chara maybe parros ivanans are too?

and yeah, godard has lost both of the fights you mentioned, orr is a pretty good fighter and he didnt beat godard by much, and shelley is probably in the top 5 for enforcers in the league. but anyways, id like to see a rematch godard vs. brashear. i still think the result might be different.
