Defines what reason actually is and how partial truths can distort an argument.

I apologize for the lipsync. I switched codecs but this was already uploaded and linked to, so I didn't delete this clip.

Taken from A Resurrection of Reason in a Reign of Ignorance by Rev Dr Phil Valentine. Done ~ Summer-Fall 2004. Just as relevant (if not more so) today.

"bla, bla, bla..i'm going to ague you in to the ground where the fact and the point aint real but i'm just going to overwhelm your senses and make you tired"--V

this acceptance is only possible if the listener LACKS reason. why? because of "reason" (by definition) and i (afterray) am repelled by concepts that "aint real"

while you are in a deep dream, is there any "reason"?

"reason from the scripture"--paul (is that reason by definition)?

    does NO-THING have reason?

  • @afterray

a mad person "think" in a reasonable manner. is he / she reasonable?

"this child is not going to be tough how to reason in school, the only reasoning that child will have will come from their parents if their parents are reasonable" (is he serious?) anyone can take a class on critical thinking. (a child uses "reason" to a certain level) if a child is tough "reason" OR not by the parents, the child's limited brain development can't discern.

  • if a question (any question) is answered by a right answer, the "reason" behind that answer is the proper context of the question.on the flip side, if (according to the displayed definition of "reason" 2:36 min / sec "moderate, fair") a question (any q) is answered by a "moderate / fair", the "reason" for that ans could not fit the term of "reason" in the context of right OR "logic."

"the illusion to exercise ur conscious"--V

please hlp me. since when conscious is an illusion?
