Bruckner selber ahnte, dass er die 9. nicht vollenden würde und sah das Te Deum als Finalsatz vor, ein Beweis dafür, dass die 9. nie dreisätzig geplant war.

...sehr gut...das Adagio, was sonst als 4. Satz aufgeführt wird ist zwar nett, aber niemals von Bruckner als Vollendung der 9. Sinfonie gedacht....

Again, this is clearly the original Somale-Phillips-Cohrs-Mazzuca reconstruction and not, I don't think, the Carragan reconstruction, although I admit I have yet to hear Carragan's reconstruction. But I am quite familiar with the first SPCM version from the Wildner recording and the second SPCM version from the Layer recording.
I would strongly urge those interested to obtain the Letocart reconstruction from the Abruckner site as I like the coda in that one better than that of the SPCMs.

Die 9. von Bruckner endet mit dem Adagio. Und wer das Adagio der 9. von Bruckner kennt weiß, woher Mahler die Inspiration für das Adagio seiner 9. hatte.

Bruckner is great, but to my taste, mixing the motives and themes from previous symphonies here is not a good resolution. Sounds too artificial.

Dies hier ist natürlich ein gelungener Versuch, aber wie man weiß verwarf Bruckner sehr oft seine Skizzen...

It sounds very much like Bruckner. Whoever composed that, it matches well the apocalyptic tone of the symphony.
It should be added to some recorded versions.
After all, it has already been done with Mahler's tenth.
