  • Just goes to show there's no such thing as an original. Never heard of this singer before but if I had just heard him without reading anything else about him I would have thought it was Gene Autry singing the song. Just another of those far out coincidences:

  • His style is similiar to Gene Autry, and Gene recorded this song too.

  • Elton Britt has been a favorite of mine for many years. The man had perfect pitch and a 5 octave range. One of the few recording artist with that gift.

  • easily his best song, no contest, and what an awesome recording of it. i also like "Star-Spangled Banner Wavin' Somewhere," though that is terribly dated now, since it was a WW2 song.
