Heng Long 1/16 scale RC Panzer III

First Test run of my Heng Long 1/16 scale Panzer III. It is fitted with Impact metal tracks, sprockets and idlers. Schumo metal gun barrel and Elmod electronics. Update:- I've now fitted Heng Long 3-1 metal gearboxes as the plastic ones quickly shed their teeth.

which one is better? the henlong panzer 3 or the walker bulldog?

do the metal tracks come of alot. and if u have used them did ur plastic ones come of much

@milk282 The metal and plastic tracks stay on fine (if you drive carefully). Metal tracks give added weight to the model tank which looks better.

i must say i have bought a heng long pershing tank metal gear etc,for the price and detail.brilliant,

mine is already custom paint from heng long,i have added a jolly roger flag camo net extra jerry cans and action man sand bags.....well pleased

BUT in the meantime, search "HL Metal Upgrade" on ebay.. there are a few sellers with complete track, wheel, sprocket & gearbox packages!

I just ordered one of these yesterday, it will be my 3rd heng long tank behind the Bulldog and Tiger 1. For the price and what you get you can't beat that. On the Tiger I took off all the tools and filled them in with spot putty, really like it, custom painted both so far. Only complaint so far the machine gun sound on the Walker don't work and the cannon fire on the Tiger with the left control stick don't work, errrrrr... but both are cool...... Jeff

With so many buyers commenting on the fact that they are more like racing cars out of the box, and really need metal tracks,and improved gearboxes, why doesn't the Hen Long company MAKE the damn things like that?

I'd be happy to buy one with all the so-called upgrades included already, without the hassle of having to buy them, fit them and throw away the unwanted bits.

In my video about my RC Snow Leopard Heng Long (M26 tank) I'm putting the abilities from the snow leopard to the test! Putting them to the limit!

I tested their accuracy and power at firing BB-pellets and also the M26 in parcour.
