  • "Wings good. Feathers clean. I soarrrrrr I gliiiide I circle...THEN I SOOAARRRR!"

I haven't heard the full version in ages. Always been my favorite piece in the movie. This and the opening theme.

    Thanks for posting these.

  • Kehaar was, and still is, the best character ever in this story. Love his theme as well. Very uplifting (no pun intended!!! lol)

  • @scrapheaporchestra SHEET MUSIC FOUND! If anyone wants the original Piano and Alto Sax arrangement of this (composed by Morley) please feel free to email me at matimong@bedales.org.uk

  • Perfect landing.

  • I am trying so hard to find sheet music for this! I know that Angela Morley published both an Alto Sax/Piano reduction and an Alto Sax/Concert Band arrangement, but insofar my tedious searches have been unfruitful! I will continue my life long search in the hope of stumbling across this music someday!

  • @BeatleBoy247 So true! Well you're completely right, as the original novel by Richard Adams was a World War II allegory written about his time serving as a paratrooper along the French border. It's so clever how such a dark story can be given two completely different yet equally emotional interpretations!

  • this reminds me of being little and dancing round the living room, it was the B side to brght eyes, still gives me goosepimples

  • @BeatleBoy247 There are more examples, Bigwig is similar to Biggles, Owsla - Auswich, Efrara - the SS and Woundwort is like Goebels, big fat ugly and nasty, El-ahrairah - El Alamein, I'm sure there are many more

  • I dont know why but im always imaging this movie being a WWll story. like the bad rabbits as nazis, Kehaar being a pilot, and how they free those female rabbits like saving POWs.

  • "We help you..."

    "PISS OFF!!!"

    Keehar, what a legend.

  • Kehaar is the most awesome bird I've ever seen.

  • The alto sax solo has one of the longest stretches without a breath that I've heard - and the performer has to do it 3 times. Not only is this a fine piece of music, it's a challenging piece for the player (nicely done, Angela Morley!), Now go ahead and listen again - and try to hold YOUR breath through the sax solos...
