  • Khrushchev: Blacks make up what, 15% of your population, no?

    Nixon: That's right.

Khrushchev: And they cause your country all these problems?

    Nixon: Yes.

Khrushchev: Now you just made Alaska the 50th state?

    Nixon: Yes.

Khrushchev: And Alaska is about 15% of your land-mass, no?

    Nixon: Sounds about right.

Khrushchev: I don't see why these blacks should be such a problem.

  • Khrushchev had an 8th grade education, yet he was still smarter then our last president.

  • @Scientisticsoviet All things considered, the Soviet economy did extremely well, being roughly 65% that of the US.

  • @alexkvaskov The Soviet Union was dismantled; It did not simply collapse: The leadership actually signed an agreement with the various republics to break it up.

Second, the Soviet economy did quite well; The ratio of GNP of 1970 to 1928 was the second highest in the world after Japan (Allen; Farm to Factory) despite WWII (25 million deaths).

  • obama is a clown...

  • Whos narrating this piece?

Such a "classic" news caster voice.

  • Khrushchev wasn't even a committed Marxist.

He once famously remarked "If I was British, I would vote Tory!", implying that he didn't actually care about left/right principles, all he cared about was authority.

  • @akatsukimember123 TBH although Obama's approval ratings aren't too high he will still get re-elected due the Repuplican split between tea partiers and moderates and the fact the only real viable republican presdential candidate for 2012 is Tim Pawley who right now is practically unknown and will not gain support among tea partiers.

  • what a fantastic leader, i know now why soviets loved him. you cant compare these great men to todays politions.

  • Love American propaganda news. See news about peace, forget about wars.
