  • Hi what tripod do you ues with these?

    keep up the good video's

  • @karlelv Thanks for your positive comment! The tripod I use is a simple and standard one that you used to be able to get from Argos in the UK, it is non branded and nothing fancy but does the job just fine!.. However unfortunately since buying that it seems that the standard tripods Argos and others sell are now much flimsier and not up to the same quality, I bought a second one last year for the binoculars but found it was not up to the job and had to be returned. Sorry I can't be more help!

  • @theinvertedhourglass hi , these seem quite cheap for what they do , are they really that good?..i bought a pair of sunagor micro zoom 10x40x21 a few years ago and payed £80, but just for daytime viewing, anything after 10x magnification was poor.. i dont want to spend hundreds and dont want a scope..i just want to view planets and moon..can you really pick out saturns rings and jupiters moons? , thanks for your help , cheers.

  • @grumpyguts1967 Hello thanks for your comment, You can see the four galilean moons of Jupiter as tiny dots but quite bright and you can see Saturn's ring to the extent that the planet looks like a tiny white disk with a thin white line coming from side slightly. The binoculars really come into their own when it comes to just generally observing stars and the night sky, things like the seven sisters is incredible and viewing the edge of the milky way is fantastic through these Thousands of stars!

  • @theinvertedhourglass hi , thanks for replying , they sound a good investment for the money then, will trust your judgement , thanks again :)

  • @grumpyguts1967 Anytime, let me know how you get on. Dan.

  • I have some 20x80's by Nippon, bought off ebay for £80. Fully multi-coated Bak-4's. They are incredible. And....the looks you get when, standing near to someone with paltry 10x50's, you dig out the whoppers!!

  • @bay193unbox 20x80 are already nearly 3 kilos. 20x100 would be a bit harder to manipulate.

  • You're cute :-)
