MBTA Commuter rail train to forge park arrives and departs Ruggles.
The train engine is a GP40 MC. I have never yet seen theese engines on the forge park branch.
In the beginning, you here an orange line train in the tunnel with announcement
You will see a WI-FI sign on a car. Very rare to see one on a train.
Enjoy!!
I wouldn't go to Ruggles... just sayin.

Sometimes passengers open them and get in trouble for it.

Thats an unusual consist. Most times the older coach is the first car on the train or the last car

From what I gather, there are two assistant conductors, and despite the high platforms, only the doors at which there is a conductor open. Am I correct about this? If so, it seems an odd way of working.

I don't see a lot of GP40MC engines on most of the commuter trains I see going through Brockton. Most of them are powered by F40PHs, and they almost always have bi-level cars. I rarely see MBTA commuter trains with all just single-level cars these days.

I just went yesterday (May 24) and my ride back to Forge Park was a GP-40. I also went a month ago. My ride back then was a GP-40. They just started using those on the Forge Park line.
