Es handelt sich hier um einen originalrestauriertenPanzer Panzerkampfwagen V „Panther" (Sd.Kfz. 171) während einer Vorführung bei der Wehrtechnischen Studiensammlung anlässlich einer Museumsnacht in Koblenz.

@dastotalebroetchen Ja, die Fahrzeuge sind allesamt mit den Original-Motoren und Original-Getrieben ausgestattet. Man beachte dazu den Kommentar der Vorführungen in Trier: "Beachten Sie bitte, dass die Motoren und Getriebe über 50 Jahre alt sind...."

Und ich war einmal in Koblenz auf besuch ohne zu wissen dass WTS da zu finden ist...! Schade :(

Wann wird solche Panzerfahrten gemacht? Gibt es ein offizielles Jahresprogramm? Das ist ohne Zweifel ein Urlaubswunsch von mir Koblenz wieder zu besuchen und bei WTS mein Kamera glühend zu machen ;-)

@byf43 Die Museumsnächte finden zwar weiterhin mit Beteiligung der WTS statt, aber leider derzeit ohne Fahrvorführungen. In Zeiten der knappen Haushaltsmittel und der dramatisch zunehmenden Sicherheitsauflagen (Aufsichtspersonal, Absperrungen usw.) ist die Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung bis nach Mitternacht geöffnet aber leider derzeit nur statische Ausstellungen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich aber allemal. Es gibt komplette Video-DVDs von allen Museumsnächten mit Fahrvorführungen.

Schönes Video - super Klang. Ich wünschte, deine anderen Videos wären alle ohne Kommentare. Die technischen Daten kann man doch überall nachlesen - wir wollen hier Panzer hören und keine Personen!

@ssstahlsturm Leider sind bei öffentlichen Fahrvorführungen in aller Regel auch über Lautsprecheranlage Kommentare zu hören. Die kann ich leider nicht ausblenden. Wenn überhaupt nur mit einem verständlichen Ton-Kommentar überlagern. Sorry. Welcher interessiert dich denn besonders ? Vielleicht gibt es ja den einen oder anderen ohne Ton noch in unserem Archiv.

Only German tanks get this kind of attention, why, because the German people have always demanded more. I don't see people taking photos of Shermans, Cromwells, or T-34's like they do a Tiger, or Panther. The star of the show is always the German tank. The Best or Nothing.

@beardo52 aha Germans tanks were a nightmare , funny the kill rate was more a nightmare for the allied crews, also the russian had a good tank but england and usa not.

You seem so intent on impressing yourself that you really don't have a clue as to what the rest of us see in the quality of the German engineering. If the majority of us thought like you then we would all be in awe of the Sherman and the Valentine. @gekko14 Research Walter J. Christie,and his fast tank. you'll find that his designs are the basis for most of the Soviet designs up to, and through WW II. I think you are not used to dealing with facts, and actual history. Better you think to espouse conjecture, and wishful thinking in their place. This behavior may impress the kids on facey space, but it falls very flat before the learned.

If you don't like German tanks then go look at T-34 videos. Maybe you should ride your little scooter and look for employment or better yet...education. You can keep replying but now I am bored with you. I'm not use to dealing with people with double digit IQ's or in your case possibly single digit. Good bye ...
