Love it!! It's infectious though not dangerously so; the Kingston Trio are thinking they're glad they have that one man advantage. I like how the lyrics are unencumbered by a Cole Porter extravagance, even I could learn this tune in 3 notes. Cheers, me hearties!

@soundslikefrank Just remember, George, Cole was the composer of that immortal cowboy folk song "Don't Fence Me In" (which was huge for Roy Rogers and Bingo with The Andrew Sisters). We also assume Conan could pick up on this with what he considers his "amateur status" guitar acumen. (Better than he did with that Will Ferrell number at the end of his last show.) Unfortunately, the K-3, as you probably know, are down to their last great member, Bob Shane, doggone it. Thanking ye kindly, John

@ceb2633 With Jay's bountiful lucre, he could no doubt buy a couple of brigs and do a Captain Nemo on Big Red. Besides, Conan's staff is probably manning the sails and doing other nautical menial chores as part of the compensation he got for them from the No Bargaining Cutthroats network. No room for the Jaymeister. Fun to ruminate about it all. Who knows? Speculatively, John

I thought Conan did fine on "Freebird"; sadly, Will Ferrett was his usual over the top obnoxious self draining the limelight from it's rightful recipient, Coco O'B. Ah, well - he'll be baaaaaaaaaack.
