I think Michiganbball explained it to you basically. You see, most people in the south (you know, where there's fresh air, wild-life, privacy, peace, and southern hospitality) are raised to properly handle/shoot fire arms. It's also called spending quality time with your kid. You should check into that, liberal obama lover.

Amazing. Keep up the good work and bonding time dad and son. Very well educated for a young man. Great job on the report cards! Love this gun too. Good first time owning/shooting gun.

Teaching kids to use guns safly is good and helps them with gun safty, my dad tought me to use his shotgun when i lived in malta, i live in the uk now and theres none of that and the teenage murder rate is through the roof

You taught him very good to keep it pointed in a safe direction.I do the same with my nephews I am real strict with safety.
The kid did great he has a good stance,

dangerous in a good way he looks like he know to keep the gun pointed in a safe direction unlike some stupid grow-ups

one dangerous kid.

I wish my dad had done this with me when I was his age. I didn't get my first .22 rifle until I was 13.

wow, that's very controlled. He almost pointed it at his foot at the end, but it takes a lot of experience to always to aware of the muzzle at all times. I own that gun and I'd give it to my kid. It has very little kick and the trigger is stiff enough that it can only be fired when you mean it. I wish the accuracy was decent, mine has less accuracy than a 3-inch smooth bore. The decocker is sweet and it's very rare to have an external hammer on a .22 pistol.
We're Texans. We hunt and we shoot recreationally, and we always practice safe firearms handling. If you hadle it with due diligence, and maintain strict rules and proper respect, a 2nd grader shooting firearms with his dad is a lot safer than one riding his bicycle in the neighborhood. Plus, it's a very good incentive for academic performance. Again, we live in Texas where it's a way of life.

He does. The video was taken with a still camera in video mode, and it doesn't come across very clearly on YouTube, but he wears ear plugs and shooting glasses as well. The SIG is new. He got it for earning straight A's on 6 consecutive report cards.
