  • Such is the nature. Lynx and wolves are hungry too. Many uninjured animals survive the winter.

  • @mbhsug Yes you are right...sort of.This deer is in the Broadmoor and was probably hit by a car or got caught up in someones fence,not really what I would call nature. This guy is a way to big for a Lynx and we don't have wolves anywhere near the Broadmoor, but will definitely attract mountain lions.

  • is it going to die?? ;_;

  • @Tiyong55 Not sure. I have never had an injured deer lay down in front of me before. We have 3 legged deer running around here so it has a little chance. The people are watching to see if it get any better.

  • It's so sad when we see an injured animal. I especially worry about the deer. Their legs seem so fragile. He might not be able to get back up. Did you see him get back up onto his legs? It seems to be a fresh injury and you can see he's in a lot of pain. Poor thing. I hope he has a quick, quiet death if he does die.

  • most likely it will die. It could get picked off by a predator real easy become so lame it dies from starvation or maybe even infection.
