@Missinginaction0 thing is, it's not exactly the same, as they play with different rhythm/strumming patterns, and in many ways that's where the psychedelic sound comes from - something being in time and yet not in time at the same...time. It's a matter of preference obviously but, unless it comes down to hoping they're all making enough money from tours etc, with so many members, I think most would imagine that a small BJM onstage would not be a real BJM on stage.

@romeosdistress Sure, if your a composer like Glenn Branca that used guitar wizz's like Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo. But 5 or 6 guys pumping out the same three chords to me is innefficient and a was of electricity. 3 is fine.

I hear what you are saying Karl Hungus (nice name btw). Personally, I hold Oasis in higher esteem than the Dandys, but to each his own. DIG! really made me hate the Dandy Warhols because as much influence as Courtney Taylor had on the doc (he narrated the damn thing) he still could not save himself from looking like a complete dolt with mediocre musical talent. Courtney Taylor is probably less talented than your average joe trying out guitars at your local Guitar Center. Rant over.

@MultiKarlHungus The Dandy Warhols are absolutely terrible. They do not deserve to be grouped with BJM because they are musically inferior. Courtney Taylor is overly concerned with his physical appearance and the outward image of the band. Anton gives zero fucks about anything other than making pure rock and roll.
