@dreamcastII Because blogger editor is possibly has the worst editor on the internet. It has an endless amount of bugs. Writer is not perfect but much, much better than Blogger. Wordpress has a great editor but since my main blog is on Blogger I use Writer a lot.

if you already have a blogspot blog they have authoring tools on that site for your blog entry. Why would you want to use this too ?
