Complete wind turbine rig, Windmill, Wind Turbine, Generator, Converter, Inverter, Batteries, Pole, Brackets & Cables
A complete wind generation kit, It has been working for nearly two years. I am moving to Plymouth and it has got to go, hence the low start price and no reserve.
These are the descriptions and approximate prices I paid for the kit
Windmill & Generator: 3 Blade wind turbine 400w max output £400
6 m Aluminium Pole: Standard scaffold £15
Dedicated wall brackets (4) bespoke £100
50m 15 amp three core cable £50
Wind/Solar converter, steps turbine output into batteries £110
2 12 v Batteries 150 Ah £160
1 12 v Battery 200 Ah £100
Power Inverter (2000w continuous, 4000 w peak) with 240 v plug £120
All appropriate cables. £20
Total £1,075
Everything is fully functional, and am sure that this will go for a snip compared with buying the stuff new or in bits. I'm afraid because of the weight of the batteries, and the fact that I do not want to dismantle the windmill, this will have to be pick up only, or I will deliver for 70p per mile one way (i.e. If you live 100 miles from Pontefract delivery would be £70)
People ask does it save you money? Well you can't run a washing machine off it, but for many household appliances it works. If reckon it has saved me perhaps £500 over the two years, As I have run my bedroom/office, lighting, PC, Amp, and phone chargers off it, in fact this is typed and sent using wind power! It was neat during power cuts hooking the telly up to it downstairs!
Good Luck
Steve
