I did not Shoot this footage but whomever did shoot it did a Great Job! This was on the Moody Beach section of Ogunquit Beach in Maine. This is a Minke Whale which had died at sea, Drifter for what is guessed to be 3 weeks and washed up on the Beach. The Removal was coordinated by The MaIne Marine Patrol, The Ogunqiot Police, Wells Police, Ogunquit Fire/Rescue and the Ogunquit Public Works Department. A rope was atached to the Whales tail, taken to the Wells Public Safety Boat by the Ogunquit Fire Dept's Jet Ski and pulled by the boat as the Loader was pushing. the Whale was towed to a Maine Marine Patrol Boat then towed about 10 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean.
