My wife and I have heard Peter speak before. He continues to be truly inspirational to us in our mental health recovery. What a wonderful person! We hope he is doing well at DBSA in Chicago!

I know exactly what this fulla is talking about. Every word is true. Until you become in control of your life, others will have their way. Walk tall and free and whatever anyone thinks about you is none of your concern. Speak out about your rights at all times when necessary, or you are betraying yourself. Unless I realised how violated I would become and fought with more than I had...........not sure - certainly wouldn't be happy! I am learning to be confident and balanced all I can.

Great speech Peter.I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia a few years ago and have been in and out of hospital over here in the Republic of Ireland.I get what you were saying about hope!thanks!
