Where is the best place to live if you're raw vegan, want a social life, and want to live fairly comfortably. Are you there?

  • Well I live in Australia and found organic bananas for $2kg the other day...it may take a little extra effort to find the good deals but its definitely possible!

  • I am from NEPA also near Scranton. $100 a week for food would have me living on the streets. On a good week I spend $30 thats for me and my little dog. Yes being on a vegan diet does help cut costs. I look at processed food and meat prices and I can see where someone would get a higher food bill.

  • @EasyToBeRaw try to set aside your prejudices, it is safe, mexico is not as bad as you may think

  • They trade debt for higher prices huummm.

  • Move to a warm place and grow your own food!!! :-) Freshest is bestest!! haha... Eat Well, Be Well!!

  • Wow... Amazing! Thank you, Harley, for shedding light on the economic facts!

Btw, I do aspire to go to Woodstock fruit fest this year! I don't know how I will pull off getting to New York from California, or even purchasing a ticket for the fest, but I have faith and WILLPOWER!!!!

  • Portland! Yay, except the rain... cool videos Megan, thanks much.

  • Was that my gal Aimee in the background at the beginning?

  • So glad he talked about this. I had the impression organic fruit was easy and cheap there.

  • @tomasthevegan Mitä?! Mä en tienny että on muitakin meitä suomessa! Kivaa. :)

  • Gotta disagree (dare I?) with fruit availability in Australia. I live in Queensland and have no trouble getting fruit at great prices at the Farmers' Markets every weekend. My local Flannery's Organic Supermarket has good prices on organics. I have also lived in California for two years and understand about availability of great food in the US. The population and demand means you can get things easily. If you want to do raw vegan in Australia, you still can!
